FIRST VIRTUAL REGIONAL WORKSHOP MENA & SSA

HAE International is delighted to invite you to the first ever Virtual Regional Workshop for the Middle East, North Africa, and Sub Sahara Africa regions (MENA & SSA in short). The Regional Patient Advocates in these regions and Operations Staff at HAEi have been working hard to bring HAE expert physicians, member organizations, and youngsters from each country together to provide interesting, informative, and targeted topics.

The high-level overview of the topics to be covered in the workshop includes: presentations on diagnostics, the HAE treatment landscape, a focus on pregnancy and children, the benefits of being involved with the HAEi Youngsters, living life to the fullest with HAE, introductions to the member organizations, information on HAEi tools and resources, along with general information for everyone and of course ‘welcomes’ from your HAEi team!

The virtual workshops organized so far have allowed many people to participate in the organized events, highly appreciating the prepared program and how it was presented. HAEi put lots of effort into making all presentations understandable for those attendees for whom English is a communication barrier. Therefore, the MENA & SSA Workshop content is being translated into Arabic, English, and French, letting everyone feel confident.

Through the virtual workshop, we want to enable participants to increase their knowledge about the disease, available therapies, and current patients’ situations in multiple countries within the highlighted regions. Our goal is to reach the largest possible group of people with HAE, family members, and physicians and let them know HAEi is here to help, motivate, and advocate for the benefits of the World’s HAE community.
