The HAEi Annual Reports provide you with details about our activities of the most recent years.

HAEi Annual Report
2017

HAEi maintained a laser-sharp focus on expanding the global network of HAE patient groups throughout 2017.

HAEi now has 61 member organizations actively working on behalf of patients within their countries to increase diagnosis and win access to modern HAE therapies.

To maintain the level of services provided HAEi expanded the network of Regional Patient Advocates to cover Central Eastern Europe, South East Europe, Mediterranean, the Middle East/Gulf Region, Sub Sahara Africa, and Latin America.

2016

Some of our key achievements in 2016 included:

  • Incoming four new HAEi member organizations,
  • Reaching thousands of new HAE patients, clinicians and nurses with our meetings and workshops,
  • Our fifth global awareness day hae day :-) supported by a revamped online platform at www.haeday.org,
  • Planning and executing the third HAE Global Conference, and
  • Refreshing our website at www.haei.org, with additional information and functionality.

2015

Some of HAEi’s key achievements in 2015 included:

  • welcoming 11 new HAEi Member Organizations,

  • reaching thousands of new HAE patients, clinicians and nurses with our meetings and workshops,

  • our global awareness day hae day :-) supported by a revamped online platform, and

  • overhauling our haei.org website and greatly adding to the written resources available there.

Also, in 2015 HAEi took a major step its ultimate advocacy goal to broaden access to modern HAE therapies by introducing the HAEi Global Access Program (HAEi GAP).

2014

In 2014 HAEi continued the worldwide advocacy efforts to improve diagnosis and patient access to suitable HAE treatments.

The 2nd HAE Global Conference in Washington D.C. stood out as a special event, that enabled patients and caregivers from 35 countries to network, share experience and create new friendships.

Noteworthy 2014 accomplishments — to name only a few — included

  • expanding HAEi membership,
  • sponsoring and organizing the successful 2nd HAE Global Conference,
  • achieving significant growth in hae day :-) activities, and
  • launching the HAEi Global Access Program (HAEi GAP).

Also, in 2014 HAEi issued 6 newsletters and dramatically increased the activity on various social media platforms.
