HAEi Regional CONFERENCES
What’s new in the Workshop and Conference concept
HAEi has chosen to change from the well-known single Global Conference format every two years, to one Global Leadership Workshop and three Regional Conferences to take place over a two-year period.
Although the perspective of HAEi is global, we recognize and celebrate the diversity among the regions of the world that we serve. That is why we will organize three HAEi Regional Conferences over the next two years.
As always, we will do our very best to offer attendance at a very low price and will also work hard to secure travel grants for as many patients and caregivers as possible.
The first HAEi Global Leadership Workshop occurred in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from 6 to 9 October 2022 – and the first HAEi Regional Conference took place in Bangkok, Thailand from 17 to 19 March 2023.
2024 HAEi Regional Conference AMERICAS
HAE patients, caregivers, board members, and leadership of the HAEi Member Organizations from North, Central, and South America are invited to participate in this regional conference together with healthcare professionals and industry representatives.
2023 HAEi Regional Conference EMEA
Around 650 HAE patients, caregivers, board members, and leadership of the HAEi Member Organizations from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa participated in this regional conference together with healthcare professionals and industry representatives.

2023 HAEi Regional Conference APAC
HAEi’s global advocacy philosophy – think globally, act regionally – was transformed into reality on 17-18 March at the 2023 HAEi Regional Conference APAC held in Bangkok, Thailand. Over 250 participants from 22 countries attended, including people with HAE, caregivers, physicians/scientists, and pharmaceutical company representatives.
