The event represents the annual Patients-Clinicians meeting in Rome and aims to offer an update on clinical and therapeutic management of Hereditary Angioedema due to C1 inhibitor defect. In particular, it offers the vision of ITACA network (Italian Network for Hereditary and Acquired Angioedema), the medical-scientific research association that promotes the progression of knowledge in the field of angioedema, together with that of A.A.E.E., the association of Patients with Hereditary Angioedema due to C1 inhibitor defect and other rare forms of angioedema.

The program offers a synthesis of current clinical and therapeutic management tools, also focusing on the burden of the disease through the expertise of Specialists belonging to the ITACA Reference Centers. In this regard, the key role of the disease registry in the advancement of knowledge of the disease and as a tool for affected Patients is also presented. The second session of the day focuses on Patients’ experience by presenting the perspective of A.A.E.E. in terms of objectives and solutions.

The event will be aimed at doctors and patients.
